Illinois Central College Invites Prospective Students and Families to Campus Visit Days

East Peoria, IL (01/27/2026) — Illinois Central College (ICC) invites prospective students and their families to step onto campus and explore what college life can look like during a series of Campus Visit Days this spring.

Designed to help students make confident, informed decisions about their future, Campus Visit Days offer guided tours, conversations with faculty and current students, and an inside look at the programs and support services that set ICC apart. Visitors can explore fast-track certificate programs, two-year associate degrees, and transfer pathways to four-year colleges and universities, all in one place.

"Campus Visit Days give students the chance to picture themselves here," said Susan Bressner, Director of Admissions. "From hands-on learning spaces to one-on-one conversations with faculty, these events help students see how ICC can support their goals, whether they want to start a career quickly or continue on to a bachelor's degree."

Program Exploration Visit Days

Students can explore programs in Arts & Communications, Business & Finance, Education & Training, Human Services, Information Technology, Law & Public Services, and STEM fields.

Morning Sessions (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.):

  • February 2, Peoria Campus
  • March 18, East Peoria Campus
  • April 18, East Peoria Campus
  • May 15, East Peoria Campus

Evening Sessions (5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.):

  • February 26, East Peoria Campus
  • March 10, Peoria Campus

Specialized Visit Days

Homeschool Visit Day

February 9 | East Peoria Campus | 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Homeschooled students and their families can see the personalized resources ICC offers to supplement their high school classes through Dual Credit and help them transition to college life smoothly and successfully.

Ready to Work Expo

February 19 | East Peoria Campus | 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

February 20 | East Peoria Campus | 10:00 a.m. - noon

Students can explore more than 25 high-demand, high-wage career programs through hands-on equipment demos, tours of labs, and conversations with faculty and industry professionals.

Early College Visit Day

March 12 | East Peoria Campus | 9:00 a.m. - noon

High school Dual Credit students can learn how to smoothly transition into full-time enrollment at ICC after graduation.

Agricultural & Industrial Technologies Visit Day

March 27 | East Peoria Campus | 9:00 a.m. - noon

Visitors will tour state-of-the-art labs and see equipment in action while learning about careers in agriculture, manufacturing, automotive, and more.

Experience ICC Open House

April 14 | East Peoria Campus | 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

This all-in-one event showcases more than 150 programs of study, along with information on scholarships, financial aid, student life, and campus resources.
