NASA scientist to be honored as ICC celebrates "Shining Star" scholarship recipients

East Peoria, IL (10/26/2022) — NASA scientist and Illinois Central College (ICC) Alumnus Dr. Jonathan F. Sauder will be honored at ICC's "Shining Star" Community Celebration for several hundred 2022-2023 scholarship recipients and donors at Peoria Civic Center on Thursday, October 27.

Dr. Sauder is a Deputy Manager of the Office of Technology Infusion at NASA. He will be presented with ICC's Distinguished Alumnus Award.

In addition, Markie Maloof, who works at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee will be honored with ICC's Alumnus of the Last Decade Award.
