MEDIA INVITE: ICC and UIS Transfer Admission Guarantee Agreement Signing

East Peoria, IL (03/23/2022) — Illinois Central College will sign a new transfer admission guarantee agreement (TAG) with the University of Illinois Springfield at the ICC East Peoria Campus Atrium on Thursday, March 24, at 2 pm. The new agreement guarantees ICC students admission to UIS and provides a clear pathway for them to complete their bachelor's degree, as well as utilizing reverse transfer credits to complete their associate degrees.

UIS has maintained a presence on ICC campuses since 1975 when Sangamon State University (now UIS) opened an upper-division Peoria Campus. The campus later became the UIS Peoria Center and is now known as UIS Peoria. UIS currently offers bachelor's degrees in accounting, business administration, computer science, criminology, and criminal justice and education at UIS Peoria.
