Illinois Central College Invites Prospective Students and Families to Fall Visit Days
East Peoria, IL (10/13/2026) — Illinois Central College (ICC) invites prospective students and their families to explore programs, meet faculty and students, and discover the support available to help them begin or continue their college journey during a series of Fall Visit Days.
Fall events include broad program exploration opportunities as well as focused experiences for adult learners and students interested in arts and behavioral sciences, agricultural and industrial technologies, and culinary careers. Visitors can tour learning spaces, ask questions about career and transfer pathways, and learn about more than 150 programs of study.
"A visit gives students and families the chance to move from wondering what college could look like to seeing a clear path forward," Director of Admissions Susan Bressner said. "Whether students join us on campus or connect virtually, we want every student to leave with practical next steps, a better understanding of their options and confidence that ICC has people ready to help them reach their goals."

Expanded 8-Week Class Options
Beginning in Fall 2026, most ICC courses are offered in an 8-week format, expanding the ways students can build college around work, family and other responsibilities. The format maintains the same credits, academic standards and instructional time while allowing many students to focus on fewer courses at once and providing additional opportunities to start or restart during the year. Admissions representatives are excited to help visitors understand how 8-week and 16-week options may fit their goals, schedules and academic plans.
