Illinois Central College Hosts Spring Campus Visit Days
East Peoria, IL (01/29/2024) — East Peoria, IL (01/29/2024) - Illinois Central College is excited to announce the success of its first Visit Day of 2024, held on January 26, where potential students and their families had the opportunity to discover a variety of career paths, such as earning a certificate to start their career, earning a two-year associate degree, or taking classes to transfer to a four-year college or university.
Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the campus, engage with current students and faculty members, gain insights into student life, and gather valuable information about scholarships and financial aid.
More events are planned throughout the spring to welcome potential students of all ages to campus and introduce them to everything ICC has to offer.
- General Studies Visit Days will take place on Tuesday, February 6 from 5 to 7 pm and Monday, February 19 from 9 am to noon at the East Peoria Campus (1 College Dr., East Peoria) and Friday, April 19 from 9 am to noon at the Peoria Campus (5407 N. University St, Peoria). Attendees can explore careers in Arts & Communications, Business & Finance, Education & Training, Human Services, Information Technology, Law & Public Services, and Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics.
- Homeschool Day, an event tailored to homeschooled students and their parents, will be held on Friday, February 23 from 9 am to noon at the East Peoria Campus.
- The Ready to Work Expo is scheduled for Thursday, February 29 from 4 to 7 pm and Friday, March 1 from 10 am to noon on the East Peoria Campus. Attendees can discover 25+ programs that lead to high-demand, higher-wage careers.
- An Agricultural and Industrial Technologies Visit Day will be held on Friday, March 22 on the East Peoria Campus from 9 am to noon for those interested in learning about high-tech programs in agriculture, manufacturing, automotive, HVAC, and more.
- The Experience ICC Open House showcases over 150 programs and the full ICC student experience on Tuesday, April 9 from 4 to 7 pm at the East Peoria Campus.
