Illinois Central College Hosts HR Fit IT People Strategy Workshop

East Peoria, IL (09/06/2023) — At the Central Illinois IT People Strategy Workshop, employers can learn how HR Fit can support their organization's people strategy. The sessions will be led by HR Fit consultants LeAnne Mortiz and Erik Christian and are provided at no charge through support from the Good Jobs IT Workforce Accelerator grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.

Sessions will be held on September 20 and September 27, from 8 - 10 AM in Room 111, Arbor Hall on the Peoria Campus. Topics covered will include talent acquisition, onboarding support, career path development, succession planning, talent development and upskilling, leadership preparation, engagement and retention tools, and integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. Those interested in attending a session should RSVP here no later than September 8.

Illinois Central College, along with Bradley University and Eureka College, received the once-in-a-generation funding from the Good Jobs IT Workforce Accelerator of $15 million to develop 1,000 skilled IT employees over the next few years.
