Illinois Central College Hosts Hands-On Ready to Work Expo Showcasing High-Demand Career Pathways

East Peoria, IL (02/18/2026) — Illinois Central College will welcome hundreds of local high school students and community members to its East Peoria campus for the annual Ready to Work Expo, a two-day event highlighting high-demand, higher-wage career opportunities that support Central Illinois workforce needs.

The Ready to Work Expo introduces students to career and technical education pathways through hands-on activities, equipment demonstrations, interactive displays, and lab tours. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with ICC faculty and industry professionals to learn more about in-demand fields and the training required to succeed in today's evolving economy.
