Illinois Central College Apprenticeship Signing Day: November 14
East Peoria, IL (11/10/2023) — On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, Illinois Central College will host an apprenticeship signing day with Caterpillar, Alcast, and Liberty Steel for ICC students. Apprentices are attending or completing programs in manufacturing and information technology.
Illinois Central College and its Workforce and Diversity division are proudly celebrating the ninth annual U.S. Department of Labor's National Apprenticeship Week (NAW). The nationwide celebration brings together business leaders, labor, educational institutions, and those interested in apprenticeships to showcase the impact of apprenticeship programs on closing the U.S. skills gap and preparing the workforce. ICC is highlighting their apprenticeship programs, showcasing current apprentices, and holding an apprenticeship signing to celebrate NAW.
