Illinois Central College Announces Community Open Forums with Presidential Finalists
East Peoria, IL (02/23/2026) — Following a comprehensive and competitive search process, the Illinois Central College Presidential Search Committee has selected three distinguished finalists in the national search for the College's next president and will host public forums to engage the community in the final stage of the selection process. Each finalist will visit campus separately, with open forums scheduled for:
- Thursday, March 5
- Monday, March 9
- Tuesday, March 10
All community forums will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the East Peoria Campus in Room 212.
To honor the integrity of the search process and respect the professional responsibilities of the finalists, candidate names and biographical information will be released the week of March 2, prior to the campus visits. At that time, credentials and background information will be made publicly available.
The community forums are designed to encourage dialogue and provide the Central Illinois community with the opportunity to engage with each finalist. Feedback gathered during these sessions will help inform the Board of Trustees as it prepares to select the next president of Illinois Central College.
