Homeschooled students feel right at home at ICC
Illinois Central College to Host Campus Visit Day for Homeschooled Students
East Peoria, IL (02/08/2023) — Illinois Central College will host a Visit Day for homeschooled students and their parents on Friday, February 24, from 8:30 am-noon at the East Peoria Campus. The visit will provide an overview of ICC, including the college's 150+ programs and plans of study, homeschool admission policies, student life, financial aid and scholarships. Two of the scholarships are funded by Dr. Jonathan Sauder, the 2022 ICC Distinguished Alumnus award winner, who was himself a homeschooled student.
Attendees can ask questions during a live panel with current ICC faculty and students and take a campus tour. "Illinois Central College recognizes the growing number of homeschooled families in central Illinois. We believe it's important to offer a campus visit day specifically for homeschooled, high-school-aged students, and their parents," said ICC Director of Admissions Rodney San Jose. "We appreciate the opportunity to work side-by-side with our homeschooled students and their families."
