Thomas Liesse Honors Personal Hero in ICC's Comm 212 Public Speaking Class

Thomas Liesse of Peoria, IL, was recently selected by ICC's Comm 212 Public Speaking Professor Joe Chianakas for going above in beyond in his speech of introduction to honor a personal hero or mentor in the community.

Students were to prepare a speech as if introducing their mentor at a hypothetical event. Professor Chianakas recognized Ben Abbot and Tom Liesse for selecting guests who could attend the class and have the guests address the class on being a successful college student.

Professor Chianakas recognizes Ben Abbot for giving an inspiring speech about his brother, Skylar and Tom Liesse for giving a heartfelt speech about his dad William.
