Sheanea LaCock and ICC's Medical Lab Technician Team Earn Top Honors at State Bowl Competition

Sheanea LaCock and fellow students from Illinois Central College's Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) team won the championship title at the Annual Illinois State Clinical Laboratory Science Competition held April 14-16 at the Par-a-Dice Hotel in East Peoria, Ill.

ICC's MLT team was the only associate-level team competing. Participating teams included bachelor-level medical laboratory students from Northern Illinois University, NorthShore University Health System, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Saint John's Hospital, and University of Illinois at Springfield.
