Samuel Pegram was accepted to ICC's Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician Training Program for Fall 2015!

Samuel Pegram, of Lincoln, IL, was recently accepted into Illinois Central College's Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician Training Program for the fall 2015 semester.

The program is designed to prepared students to become entry-level Caterpillar Dealer Service Technicians for the dealerships that buy, sell, and repair Caterpillar equipment.

Acceptance into the two-year program is highly competitive. Students combine classroom instruction in state-of-the-art labs with hands-on, real-world experiences through four paid, eight-week internships at the student's sponsor dealership. Students learn learn about the CAT Service industry while building experience as a technician.

ICC's Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician Training Program students enjoy a great reputation with dealers associated with the CAT Service industry. Students coming out of the ThinkBIG two-year program often test at the same level as technicians with 5-7 years of experience.
