Ross House Participates in ICC Student Sustainability Presentation Contest

Ross House, of Lafayette, Ind., recently participated in the ICC Student Sustainability Presentation Contest held on the East Peoria Campus on April 19. Topics were required to address all three aspects of sustainability - society, economics and the environment - and are limited to four to six minutes.

Ross's presentation was titled, "Can One Seed Change the World?."

William McConnell of Peoria, Ill., was awarded first place for his presentation "Flint, MI Water Crisis." Second place was awarded to Ross House of Lafayette, Ind., for his presentation "Can One Seed Change the World?" and third place was awarded to Mimi Phung of Peoria, Ill., for her presentation "Green Roofs."
