ICC Welcomes Practical Nursing Program Students for Fall 2016

ICC is proud to welcome students into its Practical Nursing Program for fall 2016!

The Practical Nursing Program is designed to prepare the nursing graduate to provide quality care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician, dentist, or podiatrist. LPNs monitor vital signs, change dressings, prepare and give injections, assist patients with personal hygiene, and meet their emotional needs. In some instances, such as in nursing homes, licensed practical nurses evaluate residents' needs, develop care plans, and supervise nursing aides.
