Dylan Parish Contributes to ICC's National Championship Speech Team

Dylan Parish, of South Pekin, was a member of the Illinois Central College Speech Team that won the national championship in the Phi Rho Pi National Speech Tournament held in Schaumburg, Illinois, April 9 - 15. The team took home the gold medal in their division. More than 500 students from 58 colleges competed.

Individually, Parish competed in the categories of impromptu, prose, and informative speaking.

The team is coached by Kari Schimmel and assistant coach Fred Heskett.
